That Empty Feeling Poem by Collin Chattom

That Empty Feeling

It just...It lets me know I'm still looking for something.
That, there's something,
That will make me feel so much better and fill it,
You have,
SO, MUCH, OF YOUR LIFE,
AHEAD OF YOU.
...and knowing that you'll have all that time to fill the gap...
That there's no rush,
Plenty of time, and doing what does make you happy, the bits you do Already have filled in,
I almost want to say, it's like a very intricate...
...jigsaw puzzle.
So intricate,
That you might not even know what it is until the last dozen or so pieces Out of the thousands it might be.
...but you can sit and appreciate the ones you have, and take pride in What you've done to get them in order and smile and just admire it...
...or feel bad about ones that, that you've been wrong about or maybe Even ones you've lost for the time being, or thought you had in place Already but after looking over it again just didn't quite fit.

...that explains it better.
