That Monsoon Evening Poem by ara dev

That Monsoon Evening

Dark clouds gathered,
eclipsing the evening star
in the western sky.
That evening,
I vividly remember.

Sense of youthful exuberance
filled my heart,
and the lightning struck,
wishing me good luck.

Split second later
the heavens roared,
many thunders later
the monsoon rain poured.
