That Night Poem by ogbonna chinemerem

That Night

A night of joy and passion

so cool with the best weather a best night could be.

Filled with shivering,

that thy heart almost got frozen.

I heard the voice, so tender and beautiful as a queen's voice need to be to her king.

Even though the absence was present,

but thy heart couldn't take away the sweet tone of her voice.

Even though he slept off,

but thy heart still wish the reality of the night.

Oh! What a night?

Full of lovely dreams,

and making a brighter day for the next.

This night of passion, wish you could turn out to reality night,

and be my nightly nights.

Very vivid passion of the narator. I like the end of the poem, very passionate response toward the night character itself.
