That Night Poem by Margaret Ann Newcomb

That Night

That night, in the firmament entire
When all the stars held hands
And shone their collective
Light on your love
As a gift to the universe,
None were surprised,
for the ancient love
In your ancient hearts
Created that firmament entire.
