I knew I was doomed
When I first met those eyes.
I still remember
The way they pulled me in.
Such gentle eyes they were,
Yet they still had enough power,
To create a storm in my heart.
Every word
Carefully practiced in my mind
Was lost
Before those delicate eyes.
That quiet stare was enough
To make me lose myself in the silence inside me.
To make me drown,
Too deep to rise again.
And I kept sinking willingly.
