That Voice - Poem by Bonnie Carico

I hear him calling,
His voice in cadence
Rising, falling...
Blessing the loaves to feed
The multitude of
My ponderous needs.
I hear him shout,
Boldly driving out
The vender of doves
From the temple of my heart.
I know that touch
Leading me by
His constant love
From the valley of shadows
To summits above.
I know that voice:
His name is JESUS!
