That You Will Be Poem by Chukwuebuka Adebayo

That You Will Be

When they needs help
Their countenance are as of sheep
Their words are prayers and prophecy
The cock forsakes sleep
To get the early worms
I tell you, It is their deeds.
My friend, do not be like pawpaw
Pawpaw--if eaten, the seed is throw off

Do not be as sweet as orange,
If taken, only remains chaffs
But in your life,
Be tasty as palmwine--
As you tastes sweet, you boozes up.
Who ever drinks you as normal, drinks juice
Who ever drinks you as he likes
Drink you to his peril.
