The Addictive Throne Poem by Lilith Van'Nightinveil

The Addictive Throne

In shadows cast by moonlight's gleam,
There lies a tale, a whispered dream,
Of a man who's more than flesh and bone,
A drug to me, my heart's own throne.

His voice, a melody, soft and low,
A river's murmur, gentle flow,
It calms the quarrel in my mind,
A soothing balm, so rare to find.

Yet in its sweetness, lies a snare,
An addiction growing, unaware,
Each word he speaks, I crave, I yearn,
My soul ignites, my senses burn.

His touch, a feather's tender brush,
A storm within a tranquil hush,
It stirs the depths of primal need,
A flame that fuels my wildest greed.

His presence, like a fevered dream,
An endless want, a fervent theme,
I cannot flee, I cannot fight,
I'm drawn into his endless night.

For in his arms, I find my place,
In every touch, in every trace,
Of love and lust, of sweet despair,
A bondage that I cannot bear.

His voice, his touch, his primal call,
I need them, want them, crave them all,
A drug I seek with every breath,
A love that dances close to death.

And though I know it can't be right,
This endless dance, this restless night,
I cannot stop, I cannot flee,
For he's the drug that conquers me.

In shadows cast by moonlight's gleam,
I live this tale, this whispered dream,
Of a man who's more than flesh and bone,
A drug to me, my heart's own throne.
