he once went to school a
lmost everyday without shoes to wear,
came back home educated
and never shed a tear,
the following day,
back to school without food to eat,
and yes he knew
that he will make ends meet,
She came,
And so he became
with his loving widowed mother
opting to secure him a future,
he stood and fought for his own
As he held on by nature,
a young African mind
who grew up without a father as a fixture,
but then became his own father
by merely creating a picture
She came
And so he became
he lived under the roof of shacks
with which when it rains everything is wet,
his intelligence thereof told him
That his goals were not yet met,
cried tears
when he saw other families during christmas,
and with hope and perseverance
in his mind was regret was anonymous,
even though poor
rich was his mind and walked a mile,
but you see him one today
filled with a smile
She had faith in him
And why not do the same to me?

The suffering of the boy also moved my heart. This poem is stupendously beautiful.
