The Aftermath Poem by Andrew Fincham

The Aftermath

Intricate shivers
hover in the air
like harmonies unheard.

Sleep dance
disturbed
delicate
fundamental.

Knowing the perfection

of the final
the ultimate arch
the everlasting forgotten

We break

(slowly)

into

wakelessness
