A newly created crayon
sits innocently on the floor.
It is the brand new color that
my children have learned to explore.
They are excited about the little things,
the ones we adults take for granted.
We forget that their lives,
are why we are here, planted.
Toys are strewn everywhere,
please, let them lay awhile.
They remind of us how precious our children are,
and why they always make us smile.
I look at them and instantly know.
My purpose, my reason, my worth.
They are truly innocent, so pure,
even from the precious day since their birth.
They already love the Lord.
What a wonderous gift that is.
To know my son at such a young age,
knows that salvation is truly his.
He accepted the Lord just recently,
he went forward and said his plea.
It was a shining moment for us, his parents,
we created a life that honored thee!
We anticipate that day
when our daughter accepts and knows,
that her salvation is secure,
because in her heart she tells and shows,
That He is above all others.
