The Anaconda Poem by Adya

The Anaconda

The anaconda is so magnificent, so complex,
but it confuses,
constricts,
corrupts.
Who knows where one hides?
There could be by you right now, staring at you
yet it would remain unnoticed.
I fear anacondas; they are dangerous,
and though I can handle them when confronted,
they can be so very hard to find,
so terribly obscure.
