when I woke up I Thought I heard the wind cry
May be it was the sky
Calling the angels above
Where I lie
I hope it was the sky

I heard murmuring thunder above my head
I sat and though about all the time I cried
Wonderind when shall I die

The angel came with me
I could hear the tears of the angels cry

I watched as the angel flew away
I listen to the angel shed tears

Then I sat on the bridge
Thinking about the angel above
The angel covers everything
The angel saddens us all
