The Angel I See Poem by DANIEL ESSIEN

The Angel I See

Like a little gentle dawn
She unveiled her glories
Like a royal pearls
The beauties displayed array
As the pendulum count
I got closer in static stare
With firm steps
But in staggered fearful thoughts

I have seen her before
My thought is that it was in dream
The way she gently moved towards me
Compelled my steps in reverse
I know not what to say
When she get closer
Could she be a manmade?
These beauties are rare to humans
If she be a human
Must be of royalty
Her figure is abnormal
Her likes I've never seen
Her cat catching eyes
Was what all could catch

I am a man not a coward
If she move to me
To her I should me move forward
At a closer glance
She screamed big brother
In awesome wonder
I cried little sis
Just in few years apart
You've become an angel
I was in joy that my blood
I this angel I see.
