The Answer Poem by Austin Moore

The Answer

Rating: 5.0

Its lethal, poisonous, intoxicating
Time becomes slower, because you keep me waiting
The answer leaves me quivering inside of my shoes
Awaiting the answer and I'll probably lose
Lose the very essence of my sanity
You can change me, make a man of me
This answer will probably tear me apart
Cut me right open and rip out my heart
Why did I do it, Why did I tell you
I can’t stop one thing that I’ll always do
It’s like my veins are tied in a knot
I couldn’t help myself, I just couldn’t stop
This answer is not a response to a question
I doubt all advise, every single suggestion
It's not you, it's me, I just can’t concieve
I understand fully if you want me to leave
I know that this hurts to hear this from me
But I need to confess my endless agony
it’s a foreign Idea to me, Its completely new
I can’t stop one thing that I’ll always do
Love you
