The Architectural Heritage Of Calcutta Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Architectural Heritage Of Calcutta

Dutch, French, Portuguese,
English-inspired
Architectural heritage,
Mansions and buildings
Patterned in that way

The muddy villages
By the banks of the river Ganges
And that too cut in
By the stream,
Placing in this side,
In that side
And the boatmen busy all the time
Or as engaged
