The Art Of Not Knowing Poem by Enviara Mystique

The Art Of Not Knowing

Alluring darkness, fading lights—
Will I ever know the blazing whites?
The rights and lefts all feel the same;
I'm lost, unsure which turn to take.

The fear, the stress of not knowing,
While refusing to follow the crowd flowing.
'I have it all figured out'—
A facade I wear with hollowed pride.

Would it really be such a confession
To admit I'm a map without direction?
The fear, the anxiousness of not knowing,
Yet I'll never join the crowd going.

I dream of touching endless skies,
Though my flight soars on unknown highs.
Will this flight ever find its land
If I accept I'm just footprints in the sand?
