The Autumn Day Poem by Bryan Harford

The Autumn Day

A Bright, autumn day that sparkled and
Glowed just seasonally so.
Cold biting northerly winds,
Golden leaves
Scattered hither then thither
Dancing to and fro.

Everything stopped…
Light turned to dark,
Gold to grey..
The day suddenly null.

A shudder,
A howl of incomprehension,
No reasoning's
No farewells bade,
As off they went,
Unendingly northward Bound.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
a needless car accident that ended two dear friends lives.
