The Ballad Of Father And Son 2 Poem by Ragy Sandid

The Ballad Of Father And Son 2

You see
I agree
But then, there's you
And then there's me

But you think
I'd care
That you'd always
Been there

You're on the clock
Tick tock
Your job was my underwear
All the way to the socks

You're happy?
I didn't see that
Last thing I remember
Is you being mad

Seems everything I did
Didn't fit your request
You shot me down
Then wanted me to be the best

I was scared
When I left you
Then I discovered
The world without you

It's unkind, unable
To see me the way you did
I'm not sorry for a lot of things
But I am sorry you see me as only your kid
