The Ballad Singer. Poem by Michael Cochrane

The Ballad Singer.

She's singing in Kellys pub, with eyes closed, blind since birth.
The regulars are silent and they listen to the Irish voice that melts the heart.
The Guinness flows through the throats and starts the chatter eddy and weave the Craic as one.
