Slowly and swiftly, life sets to tear me apart,
Yet I stand ready to fight, with a warrior's heart.
At what cost, I wonder, will this battle be fought?
And what will be the prize, when victory is sought?
Through storms and darkness, I'll hold my ground,
In the silence of struggle, where no comfort is found.
With courage as my shield, and hope as my guide,
I'll face every trial, with strength from inside.
Though torn into pieces, I'll gather each shard,
Rebuilding with spirit, though the journey is hard.
For in the end, when the battle is won,
The prize is the growth, and the strength I've become.
