The Banjo Poem by John Carter Brown

The Banjo

The banjo is unusual
as anyone can see,
and strangely, only has five strings,
tuned to an 'open' G;
I like the sound it makes
but not it's maddening oddities:
It's round, and hard to handle,
and keeps rolling off my knees.
