The Battlefield Of Life! Poem by Denis Martindale

Genesis to Revelation, upto the present day,
Despite God's great creation, Mankind has lost its way,
Like falling stars from skies above, the soldiers fight and fall,
That's why the wise must seek God's love and each new miracle.

Behold the battlefield of life, the birth, the life, the death,
And then reflect on this world's strife and Jesus of Nazareth.
The Bible says the Prince of Peace can grant us peace within,
We learn God's wonders never cease, so we must not give in.

The young, the old, the in-between, the unborn in the womb,
The Lord of Love has always seen much more than we assume.
That's why God did not spare His Son when Christ was on His Cross,
Through this one act, great things were done, despite the tragic loss.

Christ knows each battlefield of life, yet went to Calvary,
He had the strength to face this strife before God's victory.
So think of Christ and let Him know, you'll do your part as well,
So that Christ's Church will grow and grow and fewer go to Hell.
