The Beach - Poem by Natalie Collins

The peaceful blue water
The shiny pleasant waves
Rising up onto the golden sand

Birds soaring with wings spread
Calmly above the water
Calling to their kind
From the distant shore

Meanwhile fish swimming
In the warm water
And people laying out on the dry sand

All this happening at the sunny beach
