The Beating Heart Of A Broken Girl - Poem by lauriebeth lindner
Im the girl whose always breathing
But am I the girl your always seeing.
Or am I the girls whose disappearing
to see is to believe and to believe is to see.
The beating heart of a broken girl.
The feeling of pain and sadness.
The beating dies as the vision fades.
Remember me for who I was
See the smiles fade away
The eyes of hate begin to grow.
No body knows the pain she feels
They run to her to see if she is still breathing
To find the pulse has gone
To find the words written in blood
HELP ME, FIX ME, MAKE IT GO AWAY!
They try to save her but it's already to late.
