The Beauty Of A Boy Poem by Shemsi Elsani

The Beauty Of A Boy

Look at him, standing still
Facing the ocean southwest
Feeling the wind against the skin
Tousled his blond hair gracefully
Listening to the waves comes and goes
Smelling the saltiness of the air
Step on the warmness of the sand

He was smiling beautifully
Exposing the teeth so pure
There's an overwhelming happiness
Shining brigthly from his eyes
There's drops of tears on his cheeks
Decorating the emotion deep inside

He look far away to the ocean
His eyes narrowed as if hurt
Try to search out of blueness
Reaching the land below the wind
Would he will ever be able to see

Whispering softly the thousands wishes
Blows by the winds to the far land
Dreaming of the dreams that seem far away
Keep it tight in his heart
Wishing for them to be true

Fisting his hands tightly
As if he would be figthing
Now he closed his blue eyes
Those tears kept falling down
Now they wetting his very cheeks

Why would the world so cruel
Snatching away his only love
Leaving him again all alone
In the darkness of the night
That was so black he turned blind
He sreamed away as he would
Chasing all the blackness of the memories
