Sweetness Of Memories Poem by Shemsi Elsani

Sweetness Of Memories

Rating: 4.5

Sweetness of memories

Once nothing else matters
Once world was all innocence
Once everyone was so kind
Once hurt wasn't even known

It was the sweetest of memories

Woke up before sun
Crying for the coldness
Nurtured petiently
For the future to come
Seen not by the eyes

It was the sweetest of memories

Regardless the circumstances
Gave everything that ever there
Even the shame unbearable
Made happiness never last
For the most loved one

It was the sweetest of memories

It has all gone now
Those sweetness of memories
It has all gone now
That happiness never last
It has all gone now
Those moments of painlessness
It has all gone now
That child of innocence

How sweet life could become
If only those memories never end
How happy life could be
If only happiness never end
How beautiful life could be
If only hurt remain unknown
How peaceful life would be
If only innocence never last
