The Beauty Of Forgiveness Poem by Katheryn Foley

The Beauty Of Forgiveness

I came quietly to this place,
All alone I stand,
Your love I do embrace,
Kneeling down face in hand.

A simple question I do ask,
For forgiveness to be pure,
To lay down my uncharted mask,
And give up my dream differed.

My heart quickly changes,
The tears I wipe away,
Now lovely are these arranges,
Beautiful and here to stay.

In a whisper I hear you calling,
I look up to you above,
This distorted mask is falling,
I'm uncovered by the one I love.
