The Beauty To Aspire. Poem by Timothy Moss

The Beauty To Aspire.

Rating: 3.5

f I could ACQUIRE,
The things I ASPIRE:
I'd have YOU.
A PENNY for my THOUGHTS -
Wouldn't EQUATE to their VALUE,
So it would only make CENTS,
That they're WORTH DIMES:
Because they're about YOU;
And your a PERFECT 10.
But did I mention,
That those LOOKS OF YOURS -
Are to DIE for?
KILLING me softly -
With every GAZE -
Like the FUJIS ON REPEAT.
And I know you might think,
That these lyrics are DECEIVING,
But BELIEVE ME,
All I WISH for,
Is YOU and I convening.
WE could be a DISNEY MOVIE:
YOU the PRINCESS,
And I the THIEVE.
I'd STEAL your HEART,
But you'd CHANGE MY WORLD,
FOREVER -
Like GLOBAL WARMING.
Or WE could be a SUSPENSE FILM:
Because the CREATION -
Of the ANTICIPATION -
Of ME and YOU,
Makes my HEART JUMP -
With no DEFIBRILLATION.
I've ran out of ADJECTIVES,
That DESCRIBE your ESSENCE -
Because -
Your PRESENCE -
Leaves me LOST FOR WORDS,
Like a WELL-HIDDEN DICTIONARY.
You have more KEYS,
To my heart,
Than a GRAND VICTORIAN PIANO,
So WE could be a DUET,
And make sweet HARMONY.
I've searched for YOU;
The PERFECT girl:
For so long.
And although it's a GOOD SONG,
MR. OCEAN,
Got it wrong.
Why?
Because quite FRANKLY,
I'VE.
BEEN.
DREAMING.
ABOUT YOU.
