The Begining Poem by Kathryn Garner

The Begining

its simply the cliff hanger to all we know
leading to the grand disaster despite
how much we've a along let go
but was it goodbye or just goodnight

walking among the dead graves
of all I ever truly loved or cried for
remembering that one horrid mistake
I wish I didn't love you anymore

I'm bidding goodbye to the sun
and turning to the shrieking wind
grabbing at all I've ever done
thank god the end will begin

at least now you've left it for dead
while i lay in this new start
the thorns as our bed
and i can feel the lifetime fall apart

I'm crying at you six feet under
and i find myself beginning to wonder
is this the beginning of the end......
this is the beginning of the end
so we can relive what's already been
this is the sorrow, its last to pursue
that last trial of looking back for you
these are the dried roses in the vase
this is loves final chase
this is the beginning of the end
