The Bird Stings Poem by Sebastian P. Bjørndal

The Bird Stings

The bird stings

Oh
How this day went
Nothing bent, nothing sent, nothing meant, awful scent

Wired to the monn
The sun rise at noon
Will it all be over
Very soon

Endless gloom
Groom every room

How about that
The cat got fat

Again

All in pain
Live in vain
All day
All night
Fight
Hurray

Dismay
Cray

Tomorrow
I borrow
From you
Cause you've not yet
The time
met

The bird sings
The chime stings

Why not the bell?
It rings
Well hell
Think of other things

The birds sing
The chime stings

Knocking now,
In this hour

Bread not yet soured
Not even supper devoured

All
and nothing left
Nothing
Everything
Endless
Again

I follow you
Finished men

Clouds
Distant sounds

Floating

All then
Now when

The bird stings
The bell rings
The chime sings

Floating

Again

Now

And then

Endless
Again

Oh
Well
