The Black Vulture Poem by Georgia Leana Benedictos

The Black Vulture

This is no laughing matter
But I prefer the latter.
What will I do if I am not better,
Will I succumb to sleep forever?

I do not belong here.
But, souls, I like it here.
I see dead people there,
That is why I prefer to differ.

What happened to me?
I have gone totally insane.
My own mind is questioning me,
How did I got here?

I feel like a living hell
For I cannot undone all the things I have said.
I cannot undo the past
But can I write another for the last?

I will be great, this I promise.
If I do not, I will go wholeheartedly.
But if I change my future
I will not be the black vulture.

I have said it all again
Pardon me but I have gained.
Another one I will define
For this is my future that I decide.
