The Blossom And The Breeze Poem by derrick foster

The Blossom And The Breeze

Oh what an aroma. I love that smell: a hint of scent. I pause to take it in
Ahh. That smell is what’s wonderful about living. It is bliss to smell and feel.
Ahh. Take in the bounty that is nature. Feel that flutter of cool air, brushing like fingers tips on skin. As light as a sweet kiss. It comes at the right time. Pause and take in the subtlety of soft air tiptoeing across, feathering the flesh to calm the heat of the shining sun. These two sensations tickle my senses like a lover running hands over my back. Smell the blossoms flirt with my nasal passages diving deeply in to my brain with a thrill. This scent follows me everywhere.
The breeze overtakes my skin briefly hugging, cradling it like a baby.
The light wind lasts for a moment and disappears as swiftly. It will come again when least expected. This combination of blossom (smell) and breeze (feel) intertwine waking the senses filling my body with energy fluttering over and through in a wonderful vibration. Oh what an aroma and lovely feel of Blossom and breeze.
