The Blue Aster Poem by Andrei Honciuc

The Blue Aster

Rating: 5.0

Purple asters and sweet nectar
As beautiful as you all are
From one to another they roam
Draining your love then heading home

For bumblebees its just a game
They kiss and run yet feel no shame
Incapable of giving their hearts
They break others in a dozen parts

But deep within the aster fields
Some blue petals are making sight
Sugary anthers have revealed
And bees conquered her charm with blight

Left lonely like the other flowers
This blue aster lies cold at night
But strangely passing by the hours
The same striped bee will bring her light

There is something about her perfume
Without it he falls into gloom
And she without his fair attention
Would never be able to bloom

Purple asters and sweet nectar
As beautiful as you all are
Will have to do with hearts of slough
For this bumblebee fell in love
