I've got a story that nobody knows, a painful secret that continues to grow.
The body will remember,
When the mind has blocked the memories out
The body will remember that day I never spoke about
My body remembers you that night
Oh how I wish it would just disappear from my mind
Its sad you try to convince me it never happened
Maybe my mind will believe you, Maybe it will block everything out
But I can still feel your weight on top of me
And the sound of your voice as you spoke in my car
The pain you caused is stored within me
Deep inside an it'll never go
No matter how much you try
It'll never forget what you did to me that night
