The Boogie Man Poem by Lorene Kinsey

The Boogie Man

Each and every night,
when all the children sleep,
the boogie man appears,
to tickle little feet.
He steals the cookies from the jar,
and inhales them one by one.
He plays with your toys,
and lays them around
(It makes your mother
rather, unhappy I have found) .
And at night, when you toss and turn,
your bed becomes a mess.
For this we owe the boogie man,
he tickles simply to bless.
