The Bounty Poem by Tony Ogunlowo

The Bounty

There is a bounty
So I’m told,
worth more than a
Man’s weight
in Gold, many times over
with all
the diamonds, rubies and emeralds
in the world
cobbled together.

Unclaimed?

For how can one
snare an angel
and pin it
down?
