The Bragging Enemies Poem by Oscar Dhonesquil Esquilona

The Bragging Enemies

Leaving the world behind
Just to follow the voice of my heart...

I walk, I jog, and I run!

Within the walls of this sanctuary,
I'm battling with Demons around me

There are times that I topple
There are times that i tumble

I cry, I groan, and I shout!

I'm helpless with this combat
I can't go on with this life

I pause, I kneel, and I pray!

Begging aid from the Almighty
To endure and conquer the soul's bragging enemies

My Flesh!
The Demon!
And the World!
