I sat there by your side
By the bus stop
Unknown caller in your hand
Mother did not know you had a party planned
I watched you pause the world around us
We were by the bus stop
You were sad
I sat there while you cried
I held you as if you were precious gold
While watching slowly unfold
Diamonds falling from your eyes
I saw your pain although you were trying to disguise
You finally opened up to me
And for that you will always mean the world for me
