The Butterfly Poem by Doris McGohon

The Butterfly

The Butterfly

The butterfly rises and dips
On the currents he makes his trips.
She stops awhile, nectar she sips.
My blest heart skips, my blest heart skips.

Her colors are stunning to me
A beautiful array to see
Colorful wings with which to flee
Up in a tree, up in a tree.

A social butterfly is she
As she flits here and there with glee
Carrying a small cup of tea
A sight to see, a sight to see..

The butterfly symbol is one
for happiness and true love won.
Observe the butterfly has come
Be still don’t run, be still don’t run!

(Style - Monotetra)
