The Butterfly



The butterfly takes wing
Landing on an open blossom
Tiny colorful designs
Spreading across both wings
Swirls and splotches of color
Unfolding right and left
Her antenna twitch
She flaps her wings
Perfectly symmetrical
And beautiful
