The Call Poem by Adisa Oludare Enitan

The Call

Homage to the great one
seeker of perfection
that resides not in the nation
embodiment of malicious
and hypocritical knowledge
thunder that smitten the rocks
voice of the gods
who sees the future with myopic eyes
unruly liar who lives in the past
unchaste leader who cleans others from impurities
for how long will you continue
to live and dine on your people's ignorance?
It's high time you stopped feasting on your brother's fear
