The Case Of A Temperamental Bard Poem by Chester Maynes

The Case Of A Temperamental Bard

I see the screen
Of blatant spaces
Words cannot be
Altered in perfect remedy
Slow navigation of
Unparalleled rhyme
I cannot collect
My internal deposits
Although I remain
On this space
In random pours
Of floating insights
Like raindrops from
Clouds of despair
I am slowly writing
In a snail’s space
I am who I am called
A purpose is but born
Fueled like a glee
I keep on writing
