I absolutely love this poem! It still gives me chills whenever I read it, and it almost forces me to visualize an old Spanish castle, while still giving my imagination range over what it really stands for. It's fantastic and I hope to read more from you! Um, just ignore this next part if it's too personal, but I read about a girl who won a science prize in the newspaper, and I was wondering if that was you. If it is, I used to go to your school, so congrats! And, if you have time, please feel free to respond to this. I'd really like to know the answer to my question, but would understand if you refuse to reply.

The castle in this poem looms large. Great poem. This makes me think of the castle of Vlad Dracul and how imposing it must have been and how frightning and mad Vlad Dracul must have been.
