The Catcher Has Passed Poem by guillermo veloso

The Catcher Has Passed

The catcher has passed
Phoniness is echo alone
The rye is quiet, still / no sound
Alone in the woods and
Away from the unwanted gaze
Holden has slipped away
A smile across his lips and the world moves on
