The Chance - Poem by Artie Cross

If I had the chance...
I'd tell you without saying a word
What you mean to me,
Like no one in the past has done
Or the future yet to be.
I'd make your body burn with desire
And only fan the flame up higher
If I had the chance.
If I had the chance...
I'd make your heart take flight
I'd take you down, down, down to the darkness of delight
And there we'd find ourselves lost, but not alone
For in loving each other, our hearts would be at home.
If I had the chance...
I wouldn't have to say a word
For my message to be heard.
