The Chesterfield Skink Poem by Keith Shorrocks Johnson

The Chesterfield Skink

Liked to plump and sink
On a quilted roll-armed sofa:
But fate has forced a rethink
And now its sits upon the brink
No staid lounge lizard loafer.
