The Child Still Inside Poem by Crystal Rose. W.

The Child Still Inside

Rating: 3.5

Even though I am a teenager
A curious child lurks within
She is clearly a deathly monster
An animal filled with rage far from thin
The kid spills out undesirable mistakes
Howls words of colossal hate
Happiness and excitement she takes
Highlighting every imperfection irate
And for her to finally leave me,
I wait...
