The Childish Thing
I' ve just shown to someone
a poem
I've recently written.
Someone said to me:
"I didn't like it at all,
it looks like
something made by
a child".
I couldn't deny.
Poetry is the most childish thing
on earth.
It was all rhymed,
it took me three days to finish it.
