THE CLOUD AND THE MOUNTAIN
A massive cloud while floating
In the sky stayed over a mountain,
Mocking at the moutain,
The cloud voiced so proudly,
'Oh! poor mountain, you think
You are great
And proud of your height,
Are n't you? I pity you,
You are not great
Though high from the earth,
You can never reach the sky,
You see, I am in the sky,
So high, higher than you,
I am above you,
You are just beneath me,
I am really great,
You can't attain my greatness';
Hearing the proud words
Of the vainglorious cloud,
The mountain smiled serenely
And said gently
'I never think I am great,
I never feel proud of my height,
I am just a humble mountain
In God's creation, '
The cloud laughed so haughtily,
Then, a gust of wind blew all over,
The moutain stood firmly,
But the cloud blown away,
Melted into showers
Raining over the head
Of the mountain,
Drenched in showers,
The moutain gazed
At the sky, found no cloud in the sky,
'Oh! The great mountain vanished'
Cried the mountain.
